#FLMobiGame - Karsten Lundqvist wins Technological Innovation in Teaching Excellence Award
We all are delighted that our colleague, #FLMobiGame lead educator, Karsten Øster Lundqvist won 'Technological Innovation in Teaching Excellence Award' for his effort to flip the classroom in his 2nd year Java Module.
Unlike other teaching awards that are awarded by institutions, this award was offered by the RUSU (Reading University Students Union) and the nominations were made by students.

ReplyDeletePlease pass on my congratulations to Karsten on his award. I find it difficult to understand how you all find the time to run this course and teach more conventional courses at reading as well.

DeleteI did convey your wishes via email to Karsen. I know it is a challenge but we all enjoy it - especially when we see our participants are enjoying and improving and also trying out new things. We all are very grateful to you and other 'MOOC alumni' supporting us. We are thinking of a research project looking at community building around a MOOC and wonder whether you would be interested in giving your perspective as a 'MOOC alumni'?

I must admit, I'm a bit of an unsociable devil normally. I very seldom tweet (Just checked.
